A fair amount of mud-plugging - proving that
the 101 stands alone in the off-road stakes
Sadly...

Nearing the end of the afternoon, Graeme and Fresca got stuck in a rut
What initially seemed to be trivial - turned out to be something of a disaster.
The recovery resulted in broken halfshaft, steering box and CV joint.
The site owners closed the gates at 6pm, and en-situ repairs followed
Graeme and the team eventually left the site at 9.30pm...
Philosophical as ever, Graeme dissmissed the damage with a mere
"Sh*t happens"
Notwithstanding, a superb event made all the more enjoyable with
some new faces for this year along with the usual stalwarts.
We've decided that the 2006 event is worth booking some leave for
and trying to make a week of it. Good company, good site and
a really good atmosphere make this a MUST DO event for anyone who
likes to enjoy their 101 in an unofficial convivial (and muddy) way.
Many, many thanks to Graeme and Fresca
