Nelly goes to Africa

Setting off after the Marque Day at Gaydon in 2003, good friends Chris and Helen
were about to embark upon the true journey of a lifetime - driving overland in Nelly,
their superb and distinctive expedition prepared 101 Ambulance, to South Africa.

The following pages detail their journey - in no particular order, the stunning photographs
retaining their original (undated) names as given to me by Chris :-)

You will notice that they managed to find quite a few 101s on their way!

Photographs from the route include: Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary,
Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania,
Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa.

Keen and accomplished climbers, Chris and Helen had planned their route to take
in some of the best and often uncharted climbs en-route...
